Community Partners

Bridge Ministries can assist our families with rent and utility deposits when they are ready to move into their new homes. They can also sometimes assist with our community case management clients, as well as with homeless prevention.

Since we are unable to pick up furniture donations for our families to have when they move into their homes, we work closely with the Community Furniture Bank. We send all our offers of donations to them, and then when ready, our guests get to go shopping and pick out the things they need. The CFB will even deliver their items to them!

On many occasions when a family joins us, the children are in need of clothing. My Child’s Closet is a wonderful organization that treats our families like gold. The children are able to pick out things for themselves, and are treated with dignity and respect. MCC also helps our children with school uniforms.

The coalition of homeless service providers in Birmingham is One Roof. We have been a member since we opened in 1998.
